Account information: Name, email address, institution name, and role (teacher, administrator, etc.)
Student work: Photos of handwritten answer sheets uploaded for grading. These are processed by our AI and stored securely.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our product.
Device information: Browser type, device type, and IP address for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

To grade student work using our AI models
To generate learning analytics, concept mastery reports, and diagnostic insights
To improve our grading accuracy and product features
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Student work is processed in secure, isolated environments. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security reviews.

4. Data Retention

Student answer sheet images are retained for the duration of the school's subscription plus 30 days. Account data is retained until account deletion is requested. Analytics data is anonymized after 12 months.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase: Database and authentication
Google Analytics: Website usage analytics (anonymized)
PostHog: Product analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
